Hi, I’m Praneetha 🌱
I’m a conservation scientist, systems thinker, and the founder of Conservation Activation. But more importantly, I’m someone who knows how confusing, heavy, and lonely caring about the planet can feel a lot of the times.
I’ve spent nearly two decades working across conservation, communities, policy spaces, and global platforms, often in places and conversations most people never see. I’ve worked in forests, cities, institutions, and international rooms… and I’ve also sat at my desk staring at my phone wondering, “How do I actually make a difference without burning myself out?”
Circle of Hope exists because I know that:
Not everyone wants to or can work in the field,
Not everyone can drop everything and focus completely on protecting the planet, people, or animals,
And not everyone fits into the rigid versions of conservation we’re often shown.
And that doesn’t make you any less committed. The more I work in diverse regional and global spaces, the deeper I dive into strategies for systems reform, the more I am grounded in this reality - people care. So many of you want to make a difference! We just need structure, clear direction and guidance, and community!
In this space, I show up as your guide; someone who can support you, orient you in the direction that lights up your heart, and find a way forward that fits your life, values, and capacity.
To me conservation is human, not heroic. We don't need saviours, we need empathy and effort. It has to be grounded and honest, not guilt-driven or performative. Because we all know that just does not work.
And yes, sometimes serious, sometimes soft, sometimes quiet, sometimes funny, and sometimes we try something and fall flat on our face. Because if we’re going to do this work for the long term, we’re allowed to be human while doing it 🩷
Circle of Hope is a space I hold close to my heart. With care, clarity, and intention, so you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.
Welcome home, kindred spirits... 🌿
